Rosa di Micco – Naples Late Spring Interactive Course 2019
I’m glad to share with you the letter of my colleague Rosa Di Micco MD:
Dear friends,
it is a great pleasure for me to be involved into the second edition of GRETA late spring course. Last year in Giarre the course was such an interesting experience that I would like to suggest to all of my colleagues to join us in Naples. The course is very far from being an “academic” lesson or lecture, it is much more interactive then you can expect, it is like having a master class in a friendly “rendez-vous” while being in a nice place.
During the Etna meeting we had the opportunity to speak with the masters of breast cancer treatment in a very relaxing atmosphere. After that experience I could grant that discussing about surgery or oncology while drinking or walking in good company makes everyone more prone to ask for questions, discuss indications and suggest solutions as you usually do with your own friends or colleagues.
The whole course was educational and inspiring, there were all figures of a true multidisciplinary meeting available for us and the simulation of clinical cases and markings on living models stimulated reasoning and problem solving as it happens in a real breast unit.
I look forward to seeing all of you again in the wonderful frameshift of Naples. I am sure we will have to discuss and learn a lot together as well as visiting stunning sites and eating delicious food.
